Cern are Twittering…..for now

by Richard on Sep.10, 2008, under Science, Technology

Catch them before we all go bang! The boffins at Cern are currently tweeting the latest news from the total global death machine large Hadron Collider.

Head on over to www.twitter.com/cern to see their updates, or keep coming back here as I have  very helpfully embedded them in the right-hand side of this site. Thats how good I am.

Lets hope they have time to bang out a final “so long and thanks for all the fish” tweet before we get sucked into a pea-sized oblivion.

John Barrowman and Andrew Marr - into a black hole together

by Richard on Aug.13, 2008, under Radio, Science

Wow, who would have thought that the BBC would ever have an article that mentioned John Brrowman, Andrew Marr and D:Ream (”Things can only get better” folks) on the same page? Nope, me neither, but they have managed it in the article about the upcoming Torchwood radio play on the day the LHC is fired up. And i wonder if there’s a hint of innuendo in the title “Big Bang day”, given that it also mentions Eddie Izzard along with everyone’s favourite multi-sexual time agent?
